Surprise yourself with some new moves, with Hip Hop Moves’n'Grooves

The class contain all the elements of Freestyle Hip Hop dance such as Locking, Popping, House and variety of footwork moves, with the one most important element “Grooving” (the in between) To bop, swag, transfer, and flow within and during your dance moves.

Awesome for beginners, these are all the moves you need to feel good on any dance floor.

This class will also be of use to trained dancers who wish to learn how to freestyle, a skill that is of use for Hip Hop videos and and Hip Hop stage shows. Learn how to ‘fill’ without relying on choreography.

What is re:generate?

Wagga Wagga’s annual youth festival is 8 days of mayhem, hype, intense fun and awesome people. Your challenge is to rock, create, aspire, chill, imagine, play and most of all to SHINE.

It’s an event particularly for 12-18 year olds in and around Wagga. The festival is held each year in the April school holidays with a program of events distributed through schools and local youth venues in the weeks leading up.

Let’s make sure the talents of young people in Wagga and surrounds can be seen from near and far.

Returning to Wagga is Darrio Phillips, in a career that has lasted over two decades, and that has seen him share the stage with numerous international acts, Darrio is one of Sydney’s most experienced dancers and choreographers. Bringing moves straight from the street to you this will be one high energy workshop dancers won’t want to miss!

Darrio’s Hip Hop Essentials 4 week course is also offered in the City.  Due to the  success of the “The 3 weeks taster” .  The course is 4 weeks long now.

Hip hop basics is a slow paced course that is aimed at the beginner hip hop dancer or at someone returning to dance and looking to brush up on their technique.

Held at Step Up Dance Studio .  All ages are welcome.

Just in time for your New Year resolutions is our new class, Hip Hop/Moves’n'Grooves.

This class will be of use to trained dancers who wish to learn how to freestyle, a skill that is of use for Hip Hop videos and and Hip Hop stage shows. Learn how to ‘fill’ without relying on choreography. Just learning how to enjoy dancing and have fun without complicated dance routines all at a beginner level.

The class will be run as a three week taster, please register your interest.

Monday November 30 @ 7pm we will be hold a 3 week short course in Hip Hop Dance at Step Up Dance Studio.  This is a great opportunity for those who didn’t want to commit to a full six weeks and just wanted to give the class a go and see if you like it.
